The top air-discharge with a four-way adjustable air throw gives guests total control over the current, as does the option of two distinct fan speeds. And the user-friendly control system doesn't stop there, either. An intuitive electronic touchpad makes selecting and changing options a breeze for anyone. The remote control adds yet another degree of convenience, letting guests adjust their climate from the comfort of their sofa, chair, or bed.
But the comfortable environment these TTWs produce wouldn't be quite the same if guests had to tolerate disturbances. That's why Amana kept whisper-quiet operation at the front and center of their design focus. Now, guests can bask in a refreshing atmosphere without having to put up with any bothersome noise.
And maintenance? Maintenance is a dream. Removing the condenser top is as simple as taking out six easy-access screws. This makes for quick cleaning of the outdoor coils, drastically lengthening the lifespan of the compressor and other system-sealed components. The filter--complete with a permanent polypropylene mesh--is even easier to maintain. Just slide it out, give it a quick clean, pop it back in, and you're good to go.
Amana gives all their units a full range of thorough tests before leaving the factory. You can be confident yours will do its job right from day one. The product safety organization UL (formerly Underwriters Laboratories) also certifies every unit in the USA and Canada.
