The Midea PTACs with 3.5 kW Electric Heat provide heating and cooling with a convenient remote temperature control. They weigh 104.7 to 143.3 pounds or 47.5 to 65 kilograms and need specific installation in the exterior wall of the room. The systems require the use of a LCDI 6-20P three-prong outlet and they are 42 inches wide, 16 inches high, and 21 inches deep. The systems bring fresh air in from the outside through a large ventilation door, cooling or heating to your desired temperature in a space of 350-700 square feet. There is no need to get up to change the temperature or the fan speed. These units include a remote that you can use from anywhere within the room.
Thanks to the useful Auto Defrost feature, even if there are low-temperature conditions, the evaporator won't freeze. They have easy-to-read LED and digital displays.
